three days two nights

wylie and i were sitting on a giant piece of driftwood on the georgia coast, the water rushing over our feet, when i thought, ehh this ain't so bad.
so what if i left my phone somewhere in south carolina? it'll come back, or it won't. it sort of depends on whether or not the indian hotel manager figures out whether my name is "liz" or "luz."
and who gives a damn if i have a dozen mosquito bites on me, and a lobster-red back. who gives a damn, i say.
the laughter came easily. fayettesville, north carolina should be avoided. bring sunscreen. plan ahead. stop trying to please people and say what you want to do: mini golf, chocolate ice cream, the strokes, can you drive? can you? i am just too tired.
stay awake for the scenic routes.
now i'm in the UF library with an orange and a tan face--the boys keep looking at me, i must get used to them, and then mesh with them. look at that boy there with his jaw. jaws will always bring you down.
